Journal Four

Before reading Megan Koehler's "OMG Shut Up!" I was very interested to see what she had to say about texting and the way it has affected all that are involved. After reading it however I was a bit disappointed because I wasn't that impressed with her argument. I think she had a very good points and makes her argument by using a little ethos, pathos and mostly logos. Nonetheless though, she did not use nearly enough. I think this topic is one many people are interested in because it is currently very controversial yet she did not have much outside support and did not have facts to back up her case. For this reason I did not think her argument was effective. I think this topic is interesting, but there really isn't enough information to make this reading interesting.
