I do consider myself a writer in some ways. I mainly write to communicate with people through Facebook, texts, and email. The way I write depends on who I am talking to. If I'm writing to friends or family my writing style is more care free and witty. I tend to write in the same way that I talk in these cases. However when I'm emailing professors I try to write in a more formal manor. I do enjoy writing in some cases because it allows me to express my opinions and views. I prefer writing in less formal ways when I don't have to worry about grammar and punctuation, I like when I can just write and not worry about it. My style of writing is more to the point and like when there is not a set length that the piece must be. Most of all writing is a way for me to speak my mind and express opinions in ways that others can relate too.
