I do consider myself a writer. I may not sit down and write a novel, but I am still a writer. I use writing everyday, and I believe that it is necessary in society today. Whether I write, type, or send texts, I am still using the form of writing. I send text messages, I write emails, Google on my Ipod Touch, take notes in classes, write homework assignments (like writing musical notation, short essays, or even one word responses), and even use writing/typing when putting my name on the top of my homework. Writing is a form of communication and is used in almost every area of life. In this English class I want to become a better writer. That is, to be able to express my thoughts, write assignments, and just improve my writing in general more effectively and efficiently.
