Journal 1

Yes, I very much do consider myself a writer, but not because I can write or will write. My reason is because I've experienced how it's like to not be able to write. Personal journals have always been a way for me to collect my thoughts. They're a way to focus more on what is, instead of ruminating about what if. I can get through a lot of the junk floating around in my head. It's pretty easy to tell when I'm writing and when I'm not, is basically what I'm saying. When I could no longer write, when I sat down and put my pen to paper, when I not only lose focus but the ability to gain it back. I realized how much of a writer I am. It's not about creating a best selling novel, or getting an A in my English class. But more of a journey. A journey that everyone experiences but never is the same.

O, and i hope to get an A in this class.
