Journal 7 Zekonis
My favorite version of remediation I can think of is of the short story, book, and movie of Fight Club. It starts as a simple six page short story, but as it gains recognition Palahniuk reconsiders his choices. He decides to create a novel. The novel is hugely successful and its theme and ideals intrigue Hollywood to make a movie of it (which we've all seen). The success of every part of its remediation show that it can be a successful method of interpreting rhetoric, and delivering to various audiences. The Fight Club story has inspired countless number of websites, comics, blogs, essays, and many other things, showing that remediation is a good way to broaden a topics horizon.
