Journal 10

Consider your style/voice. Does your style change depending on your audience? Or is it more important to always have a consistent voice?

Due: Thursday. Dec 8

  1. To have your own voice as a writer separates you from other writers. I think it is an amazing characteristic to have as a writer when their readers can tell what works they wrote. A writers voice is what distinguishes them as a writer, therefore i think it is the most important aspect to writing. Any person can write a poem, or a paper; however, when a writer adds their own style and diction is often changes the entire outlook on the piece of work. Even when changing your audience, it should not affect your style of writing to an extent. I believe a writer should write the same ,however according to the audience make appropriate changes to the text. Otherwise, the writer would be changing their style for a certain group of people, which should not happen.
