Midterm Reflection

At this point in this semester I think I’ve really discovered my voice as a writer. I’ve written other papers this way however I’ve never used my personal style of writing in a research paper. I think that writing all papers in this way has really helped my writing process. Now that I’ve discovered this voice I don’t struggle as much coming up with words to express what I’m trying to write. I think one of the best compliments that I’ve received about my writing is that I take a personal experience and open it to a larger audience. I really think that this class has helped me to develop this skill. I’m really satisfied with my writing but if I could work on one thing it would be my grammar. I often type my papers quickly and forget to go back and check my spelling and grammar. With my dyslexia it’s definitely a bad idea not to go back and look for these mistakes yet I still do it.
